It’s time to add an update to my Dental Amalgam Removal story. I just had the results back from a further mercury urine test. I am now showing in the normal range 4 months after removal.
Of course, it might be coincidence or it could be due the Rilutek or other supplements which I started at the same time as having my mercury fillings replaced, but my FRS scores have remained constant.
Anecdotally, I can say that muscle cramps have all but disappeared and fasciculations are either significantly decreased or I have become immune to them since they no longer interrupt my daily life. In addition, skin problems and allergies, almost certainly NOT related to PMA or MND, from which I have suffered for my entire life have all but vanished.
In the spirit of full disclosure, I must also report that although my FRS score has not decreased, I have noticed a significant weakening of the muscles in my legs. Since I have PMA that affects almost exclusively my legs, there is only one more point that I can lose in that score.
In conclusion, I can say that I am happy that I took this step. Of course, your mileage may vary but for me, dental amalgam removal was the right decision to go against the medical establishment and have the fillings removed. The mercury levels testing alone was proof that mercury was leaching into my body on a continual basis as long as they were in place. It was perhaps not the principal cause of my ALS/PMA but was likely a contributing factor that is now eradicated.
